Social Media Success with Fresh Fall Giveaway

For the entire month of October, we hosted a Fresh Fall Giveaway on Facebook, giving one lucky fruit fan a complimentary fresh fruit bouquet or dipped fruit box each week! The purpose of the giveaway was to increase awareness for this year’s Autumn Collection, and to increase engagement on Facebook.

To enter, guests had to first “Like” us on Facebook, fill out an entry form signing up to receive our promotional emails, and answer our True or “Falls” trivia question of the week. Anyone who answered correctly was automatically entered for a chance to win. (And if that’s not easy enough, all of the answers to the trivia question could be found on the Edible Arrangements® Facebook timeline!)

While the giveaway was hosted on Facebook, we also cross-promoted it on all of our social media pages including Twitter, Google+, and Instagram, and to our current email subscribers as well.

The results:

  • Over 18,000 entries
  • More than 10,000 new emails subscribers
  • Over 7,000 new “likes” on Facebook during the giveaway period
  • Posts related to this promotion resulted in over 690,000 impressions on Facebook alone
