1. Easter Lily
With large, fragrant, trumpet-shaped flowers, Easter lilies are one of the most popular lilies for a reason. Forced to bloom outside of their normal season, they are often used in religious ceremonies and floral displays during the Easter season.
Orange Pixie Lily is a type of dwarf Asiatic Lily that produces large, upward-facing orange flowers. Low-growing, these lilies are perfect for containers or as border plants, adding a splash of bright orange color.
Also known as Leucocrinum montanum, the Golden-Rayed Lily produces huge, bowl-shaped white flowers with a gold band in the center, golden-yellow stamens, and crimson freckles. Featuring a spicy sweet fragrance, they are well-suited for containers or as a border plant.
With showy golden flowers with speckled petals, the Citronella Lily features gracefully recurved petals. Unlike other types of Aesiatic lilies, the flowers do not face up toward the sun but are pendant.
Blooming in mid to late August, the Anastasia lily features wide-open huge white flowers with rose pink centers that deepen in cool weather. It has spur-tipped buds, recurved petals, and a spicy fragrance.
6. Nymph Lily
Nymph lilies grow to a huge height of over seven feet tall and bear large, pale lemon-yellow flowers with a pink stripe in the middle of each petal. Due to their enormous size, they’re perfect for growing toward the back of a mixed herbaceous border.
One of the largest and most spectacular types of lilies, Turk’s Cap lilies have been known to produce up to 40 flowers on a single plant. They feature completely recurved petals and showy extruded stamens.
Enchantment lilies feature dark green leaves and clusters of cup-shaped, bright orange flowers with black spots. They grow up to two to three feet tall and feature upward-facing blooms.
Connecticut King is an Asiatic hybrid lily that features buttercup yellow flowers with golden centers. A showy flower that provides color and contrast, it grows three to four feet tall with bright green foliage.
10. Blackberry Lily
Blackberry lilies, also referred to as leopard lilies, are perennials native to eastern Russia, China, and Japan. With foliage of up to 18 inches tall, they feature bright orange petals with darker orange-red spots.
11. Denia Pixie Lily
The Denia Pixie Lily features bold pink trumpet-shaped flowers with yellow stamens and burgundy spots. A dwarf variety, this lily can be grown in containers but is very impressive in the garden as well.
This lily features strongly recurved flowers of dark crimson with white borders and a prominent green star center. Blooming in mid to late summer, this variety grows up to seven feet tall.
13. Fire Lily
Like tiger lilies, fire lilies feature flowers that can reach one and a half to over two inches long and are bright yellow-orange with reddish-brown dots. They bloom from May through July.
The multicolored Heartstrings lily is a type of Asiatic lily with yellow centers and raspberry-pink tips. Perfect for planting in borders in the garden, it produces large flower heads with up to five to seven blooms per stem.
15. Tom Pouce Lily
Over eight inches wide, the purple-pink flowers of the Tom Pouce lily feature bright yellow ribbing contrasting with dark brown stamens. They provide striking color and contrast, whether planned in perennial borders or containers.
16. Casa Blanca Lily
The Casa Blanca lily features eight- to ten-inch gleaming white blooms with reddish-brown anthers that curl outwards. It features a strong, beautiful fragrance and strong, dark green stems.
17. Stargazer Lily
A type of oriental lily, Stargazer lilies are known for their large, showy blooms and intense fragrance. They feature striking pink and white petals and dark spots with the tips of flowers “reflexed” or curved back toward the stem.
18. Bright Star Lily
The Bright Star lily blooms in prolific clusters of large, scented, ivory-white flowers. Spreading petals features recurved tips and an orange band down the center with crimson stamens.
19. Black Out Lily
An Asiatic lily, the Black Out lily features large, dark carmine red petals with even darker red shading towards the center. A vibrant and showy flower, it produces clusters of four to five blossoms per stem.
Closely resembling a Turk’s Cap, Sunny Morning lilies feature butterscotch-orange petals freckled with crimson red spots and bright orange stamens. A single stem can produce upwards of 50 blooms.
A Martagon lily, Claude Shride produces dark red blooms dusted with orange freckles and golden-orange stamens. This variety grows up to 72 inches tall and blooms early to mid-summer.
22. Madonna Lily
A variety of dwarf Asiatic Lily, the Madonna lily features majestic, large white flowers with a yellow center. With an intense and delicious fragrance, this type of lily produces clusters of 20 blossoms per stem for a spectacular display.
The Russian Morning lily blooms in early summer with a profusion of deep rose-purple flowers with crimson spots. It’s a very hardy, cold-tolerant, and long-lived plant that also attracts butterflies.
24. Roma Lily
The Roma Lily, an Asiatic hybrid, features large creamy white trumpet-shaped flowers with a touch of light green at the base. They grow up to three feet tall with a spread of 18 inches.
25. Night Rider Lily
The Night Rider lily features long-lasting, six-inch ebony blooms with maroon undertones and a satiny sheen. These hardy lilies bloom in early to mid-summer and prefer full sun to partial shade.
26. Henry’s Lily
Henry’s lily is native to mountain slopes in south-central China. It grows up to eight feet tall and features yellow to light orange flowers with deeply recurved petals and prominent stamens.
27. Starlette Lily

The Washington lily is a very attractive and aromatic variety native to Washington and California. It features white blooms decorated with fine purple spots, ranging in size from two to three and a half inches.
31. Jankae Lily
The Jankae lily features a beautiful yellow flower with bright purple spots and petals that recurve back towards the stem. Unfortunately, they also produce a pungent fragrance, similar to a cross between an old tennis shoe and rotting cabbage.
With very dark purple petals that look almost black, giving way to white at the tips, the Netties Pride lily is statuesque and majestic. It produces four- to five-inch blooms and reaches just over two feet tall.
Rosella’s Dream lilies feature cream to white petals tipped with bright fuchsia pink and includes a spattering of tan to brown freckles at the center. They grow to three to four feet tall and are known for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds.
A hardier version of the Easter lily, the White Heaven lily features huge seven-inch pure white trumpet-shaped blossoms with a yellow center. Each stem yields three to six blossoms.
35. Martagon Lily
Originating as a wildflower in the mountains, Martagon lilies are a hardy variety of lily. They feature pink and violet mottled with purple spots with petals that curve upwards with bright orange stamens.

The Corleone lily is an LA hybrid, a combination of both the Asiatic and Longiflorum lily. This variety features velvety deep red petals and red stamens with four to five blooms on every stem.
39. Tiger Lily
Tiger lilies are large, showy flowers with six petals and distinctive black spots on their bright orange petals. They typically bloom in mid-summer and can grow up to three feet tall, making them a stunning addition to any garden or bouquet.
40. Flore Pleno Lily
Also known as the double Tiger Lily, the Flore Pleno features layers of bright and showy orange petals with purple-black spots. Each bloom can hold as many as 24 to 36 petals with up to 25 blossoms per stem.
This pretty variety features orange petals that blend into deep purple with orange-to-yellow tips. Blooming in early to midsummer, it features supple, broad petals and tall, straight stamens that face upward.
42. Canada Lily
