Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Edible Arrangements®

Last Updated on

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year we’re continuing our work with the National Breast Cancer Foundation and the Breast Cancer Society of Canada. Since 2008, we’ve raised over $135,000 for these worthy organizations, which promote breast cancer awareness education, and provide funding for research on diagnosis, treatment and prevention.

To support the cause, Edible Arrangements® donates 10% of the sales from our Breast Cancer Awareness Collection, which is available exclusively during the month of October. This collection features delicious fresh fruit arrangements and gourmet chocolate dipped fruit boxes with pink chocolate covered strawberries, and our signature high-heel shaped pineapple dipped in pink chocolate. Guests can choose our Awareness Celebration® arrangement, Breast Cancer Awareness Bouquet®, Heels for Healing® Bouquet and more to help the fight against breast cancer.

“It’s an honor for our brand to be involved in such an important cause.  Not only are we proud to donate a portion of proceeds to the National Breast Cancer Foundation in the U.S. and the Breast Cancer Society of Canada, but it also truly warms our hearts that the arrangements from our Breast Cancer Awareness Collection can hopefully put a smile on the faces of those impacted by breast cancer,” says Stacie Baldwin, Senior Global Brand Manager.

Edible Arrangements® store owners, managers, Fruit Experts® and the corporate team all support the cause by hosting and participating in many local breast cancer awareness events happening throughout the month (wearing our custom pink t-shirts to encourage others to “step up” and do the same, of course).  Our corporate employees also participate in the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in New Haven, CT.  We invite everyone in the area to join us this year on Sunday, October 20th at 1PM!
