“Here’s my favorite tropical smoothie recipe: Mango Pineapple Lassa.
- 2 spears fresh mango
- 2 spears fresh pineapple
- 2 pods of Green Cardamon
- 2/3 cup of plain Greek yogurt (organic preferred)
- Handful of ice
“In a blender put in your mango, pineapple, and ice. Open cardamom pods and take out the seeds. Smash all the seeds in a mortar and pestle. Add to blender. Blend thoroughly, stopping to push everything down. Add your yogurt and pulse a couple of times. Now it is ready to enjoy. This will be thick, so you might want a straw. If you want it sweet add some honey. I liked it not being sweet.”

“These tropical green smoothies are one of my favorite smoothie recipes of all time. They’re super creamy and sweet!
- 2 cups coconut milk beverage
- 2 cups baby spinach
- 2 dates
- 1 banana
- 2 cups frozen pineapple and mango chunks
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds, flax meal, hemp, or other mix-ins of your choice
- Add the coconut milk and spinach to your blender. Cover and blend on high 20-30 seconds or until the spinach is completely blended not the milk.
- Add the banana, date and any mix-ins that you like and blend another 10 seconds, or until smooth.
- Finally, add the frozen pineapple and mango. Blend on high, using the tamper to press the fruit into the blades of the blender, until smooth.
- Drink immediately or freeze for later.”
